Integrated management and optimization system for logistics facilities
Integrated management of hardware and software in facilities by GWES
Overview
Logistics facilities today utilize a wide array of hardware and software, reflecting the development of technologies and changes in customer needs. In many cases, the hardware and software is not all from the same manufacturers. Accordingly, multiple pieces of software including the control software that are the systems driving the hardware, warehouse management systems (WMS), and warehouse control systems (WCS) operate individually, which is a barrier to data linkage, integration and digitalization.
GWES, the integrated management and optimization system for logistics facilities, implements the integrated management of an array of information from the hardware and software of many manufactures that is used by customers. The Data Connector modules that enable the construction of a common data platform for logistics facilities as middleware is also available.
Even in the case of a paradigm shift, in which new technologies are introduced in logistics facilities changing work operations, the Data Connector work data integration module serves as a platform that is able to respond flexibly to the evolution of technology and changes in facility operations, making it possible for logistics facilities to continue growing.

Note: It is possible to use only one of the modules and to purchase the modules individually, depending on the purposes or issues of the specific customer.
Features
Integrated management of a wide array of hardware and software from any manufacturer
GWES enables the integrated management of a variety of information from a wide array of hardware and software in logistics facilities. Data linked to the warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse control system (WCS) is converted into the standard format used by GWES which serves as a common data platform for logistics facilities.
Driving the digital transformation (DX) of logistics using a common data platform
The array of data converted to the GWES standard data can be input and output between systems without requiring significant customization to the various systems used by customers. This advances the digitalization of logistics facilities and supports logistics DX.
